Join us as we welcome IRC School Superintendent Dr. David Moore to discuss the upcoming renewal of the sales tax for School District funding.
On August 18, 2020, the School District of Indian River County will have an Essential Operating Needs Millage on the ballot. The August 18 ballot proposal, if approved, would allow the school district to continue the levy of the .50 mills of net assessed property value to support our millage initiative areas of recruiting and retaining high quality educators, expending supports for schools safety and mental health, and creating technology-rich classrooms.
