Join us at FAU Harbor Branch for July’s hands-on Specialty Experience, “Trash Travels”! Learn about how today’s disregarded debris becomes tomorrow’s conservation calamity. Participants will look for synthetic materials, like microplastics, in water samples, and explore how small changes in our daily lives can keep the sea free of debris. This interactive workshop-like experience changes every month so check the schedule at www.fau.edu/hboi/tours for more information about what’s coming soon. Specialty Experiences are offered on the second Thursday of the month at 1 pm and are limited to 20 people.
