Wednesday February 28th: Indian River County Chamber of Commerce 10AM- 2PM Thursday, February 29th: Vero Beach Regional Airport, 2660 Airport N Drive, Vero Beach, FL 4:00 PM: Race Day Packet Pickup & Registration Opens 4:45 PM: Race Day Packet Pickup & Registration Closes 5:00 PM: 5K Start *Awards ceremony immediately following the race Top 3 Overall M and F Fastest Team Largest Team Team Spirit Award Fastest person Under 13 Fastest person over 55 Early Registration: $35 Race Day Registration: $40The Chamber 5K on the Runway is a 5K on Leap Day on the Vero Beach Regional Airport taxiway and runway beginning at 5:00 PM. This professionally chip-timed event will offer a unique race opportunity on a real airport runway making it a perfect fit for runners, walkers and families at all fitness levels. The course is flat and completely paved making it stroller and wheelchair friendly. Food trucks, beverages and vendors and more will make this a Leap Day to celebrate. Shirts guaranteed for the first 300 runners!!
